Job Details : Senior Audit Consultant

Job Description:

Major Accountabilities:

Work within a team environment to execute audit projects within prescribed time budgets and at a high degree of quality.
Plan and lead operational and financial audits.
Execute high quality audit projects within prescribed budgets.
Direct the day-to-day efforts of assigned audit personnel.
Prepare and present well-crafted audit report deliverables.
Assist in the development of specific audit work plans for Audit Services through risk assessment activities.
Build and maintain effective relationships.

Tasks/Duties:

Execute operational and/or financial audits.
Plan audit engagements, including the performance of risk assessments, development of scope, approach, and work programs.
Conduct audit interviews and execute audit procedures.
Prepare audit reports and other communications.
Perform audit condition follow-up procedures.
Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting the industry, Audit and the Company.

Basic Qualifications:

Four (4) year degree in accounting, business or other applicable field.
Three (3) years of relevant audit work experience.
Demonstrated functional auditing knowledge and technical skills and ability to apply auditing protocols.
Ability to travel 25-30%.

Desired Qualifications:

Internal and external auditing experience, preferably within a Big 4 environment and/or the energy industry.
Advanced degree such as an MBA.
Certification such as CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and written communications with all levels of management.
Ability to assess and determine risk impacts.
Demonstrated ability to write in a clear, concise, and organized manner using correct grammar with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
Ability to reason logically, analyze and evaluate data and information, and draw appropriate conclusions.
